NO TEETH the doom-pop, alt-indie trio from
Newcastle-Upon-Tyne are known for fizzing acidic distortion and Post-Punk
percussion over psych’d out vocals as the bands trademark sound. You can see
and hear why in the new official video for Wither, the title track from the
band’s debut EP on Imagination Engine which is out now.
"five tracks of heavy, invective fuelled music that
takes noise as its base but throws in some garage punk, doom, stoner and hardcore"
(Dayz of Purple and Orange).
"The bands raw energy riffs and socially aware lyrics
show that grunge satire is growing more intelligent" (NARC. Magazine).
The video is blackened and surreal mirroring the audio track
itself and is an exclusive commission by the band from Lisa Boardman. Lisa is a
multimedia/video artiste whose work thematically centres around contrasting
bizarre imagery with every day scenarios in the hope of unearthing the dark and
humorous subtext of modern life. Her work attracts growing levels of interest
having created and collaborated on projects with underground club night Sour
Times, as well as the bands Avacet and Fold to name but a few. See Lisa’s work and
reach out on Vimeo.
The EP is available on CD/CS/DL from our labels Bandcamp and Big Cartel stores NOW.
